Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Single QR ("Single QR", "we", "us", or "our"), a product built and maintained by Nevronus, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website and application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account so we can create and identify your account.
  • QR Code Content: The destination links you provide when creating a QR code (for example, your Android and iOS app store URLs), any customization you apply (colors, styles, logo images you upload), and metadata such as creation date and scan counts.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and the number of times your QR codes are scanned.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and time zone, collected automatically when you use the Service.
  • Payment & Purchase Data: If you choose to make a QR code permanent, your purchase is processed by RevenueCat and the relevant app store or payment provider (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store, or Stripe). We receive confirmation of the purchase and its status, but we do not collect or store your full payment card details ourselves.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you via Google Sign-In.
  • Generate, store, and display your QR codes and redirection history.
  • Track and report scan analytics for the QR codes you create.
  • Process purchases that convert a temporary QR code into a permanent one, via RevenueCat.
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the Service, and diagnose technical issues.
  • Communicate with you about your account, purchases, or changes to our policies.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

3. QR Code Data Retention & Expiration

By default, every QR code you generate is temporary and valid for 30 days from its creation date. After 30 days, a temporary QR code and its redirection links are automatically deactivated and may stop resolving for anyone who scans it. If you purchase a QR code through the Service (processed via RevenueCat), that QR code becomes permanent and will continue to function and remain stored in your account history unless you delete it or your account.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following categories of third parties, and only as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Firebase / Google Cloud: We use Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage to authenticate users, store QR code data, and host uploaded images.
  • RevenueCat: Used to process and manage in-app purchases and subscriptions that upgrade a QR code from temporary to permanent.
  • App Store Platforms: Google Play Billing and/or Apple App Store payment processing, where applicable, to complete purchases.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Single QR, our users, or the public.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls provided by Firebase, to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and QR code history for as long as your account remains active. Temporary QR codes and their associated data may be automatically removed or deactivated after expiration. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and associated QR codes as described in Section 8, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as transaction records) to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR or CCPA), including the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data and account.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, you can contact us using the details in Section 11, or use the in-app account deletion feature described below.

8. Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. After signing in, open the account menu in the navigation bar and select "Delete Account", or visit our Delete Account page for full instructions. Deleting your account removes your profile, your QR codes (temporary and permanent), and your scan history from our systems. Some anonymized or aggregated records, and transaction records held by app store platforms or RevenueCat, may be retained where required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States, through our use of Firebase and other third-party providers. We take steps to ensure your data is treated securely wherever it is processed.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.

12. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at info@nevronus.com or support@nevronus.com.
